Vendor´s Thoughts Property 2462
Amber Manor is part of a development on the Hacienda Guadalupe Hillside, peaceful, traditional and on one of the best hillsides in the area. Our vendor has written a lovely piece about owning her property there. Take a look at the property HERE
I’ve been very happy spending time and entertaining in this light and airy ground floor apartment over the past 20+ years. It’s quiet and relaxing. The plaza is in a leafy cul de sac, so there’s no through traffic. But have no fear, the gas bottle lorry still comes round here – if you need gas!
According to its name, in Plaza los Pajaritos (pajaritos = little birds) the main noise you hear during the day is birdsong. Some of the blackbirds are so friendly that they come into my front terrace while I’m sitting or gardening there. There are also swifts which nest around the community in the early summer and swoop down to drink from our pool. And even though my 2 bedrooms don’t face the sea, but face my back terrace and our beautiful communal gardens, as I lie in bed on a balmy summer night, I can hear the sea lapping onto the beach, although this is about a kilometre away down the hill. That’s how quiet it is.
It’s also a lovely place to go for walks, whether in the nearby fields or along the beach path which stretches all along the coast here. Yet it’s also within a couple of kilometres from bustling Castillo de la Duquesa and Puerto de la Duquesa, a little further on from Castillo. There’s even a very cheap circular local bus service down the hill which stops frequently all along the main road to Sabinillas and up to Manilva village.
Being in a cul de sac, neighbours are also friendly and sociable – as indeed is the case as a whole in this little 4-block community of 42 apartments. I shall miss spending time here, but needs must……..
We have a walk through video of this pretty apartment. Take a look HERE
