Our Timeline
Our reputation at Castles Estate Agency has been built with over 40 years of honest, clear and professional advice
within the ever changing and increasingly competitive property market,
Castles is born! Bish and Poppy opened initially as tax advisors for non-Spanish speaking clients.
The business expanded to include an estate agency arm, and thus Castles became the very first estate agents in Sabinillas. Although the marketing was in it’s early stages
Mike Rowlands, son of Bish & Poppy, joined the company and became the first full time employee, specialising in real estate.
Chris Rowlands, Mike’s brother joined the business for a two year stint, during which time his daughter Bethany is born.
In the same year, due to the expansion of both business’ a new frontline office was opened in Sabinillas, where is still remains today.
It was also time to expand the team, as Teresa joined the company, infamous for her excellent photography skills.
Chris returns to the UK with his family for a new adventure.
After 10 years of running a successful agency, it’s time for a change as the brothers are reunited and Chris is back on the Castles team.
A few years later the business is ready to expand again with new marketing strategies, and Natasha joins the team to assist with tele sales and administration.
Ready for more team growth, Claire joins Castles to support the business rebrand, the launch of our new website, and expanding our market reach even further.
Our second office opens in Duquesa! A very exciting moment for Castles, as we establish a presence in another fantastic area.
Another year of big changes as our lovely Charlotte joins the business, initially with a role in telesales. Claire leaves to pursue her dreams as a business owner and Charlotte is internally promoted as sales lead, ensuring a smooth transition.
Natasha also leaves the business to support family, but we happily welcome Sara to the team.
The team now consisting of Mike, Chris, Charlotte and Sara are joined by Beth, Chris’s daughter and Patrick who recently married in June.
One of our busiest years yet!
This year has been full of momentum and milestones. From launching our brand-new website to expanding our marketing reach and celebrating record-breaking sales, the Castles team has truly been on the move.
We’ve also seen some heartfelt transitions. The wonderful Sara headed off to England with her husband to begin an exciting new chapter teaching Spanish. Charlotte also moved on to new opportunities outside Castles. We wish them both nothing but success and happiness.
Now, with a refreshed team dynamic and our 40th year in business on the horizon, we’re stepping into this next chapter stronger, energised, and more excited than ever.
