New Infrastructure in Manilva

Despite the current restrictions in place and the economic ramifications this brings, it is great to see that Manilva Town Hall continues to improve the infrastructure in the area.

The latest announcement from the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, is a new “Blue Bridge” over the A-7.  This new bridge will be found at the bottom of La Paloma and over the road to Playa Paraiso.  Much as the other bridges, this is a pedestrian bridge with ramps at either end with a span of almost 200m.

The “Blue Bridges” have become an important feature in the area linking the mountainside of the road with the coast.  These simple but effective constructions have been a popular safety feature for pedestrians and it is good to see that this programme has continued.

Look out for more local news ….
